San Diego Chargers NFL Game Blacked Out

Since 2004, NFL San Diego Charges were blacked out on local television for first time because of the poor ticket sales for the Sunday game.

There were too many expectations on sale of the tickets for the match-up between Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars at Qualcomm Stadium.

Earlier, the chargers games were blacked on Nov 8th, 2004 against the New Orleans Saints.

Chargers President, Dean Spanos says that it happens because of the poor economy and fan’s lingering disappointment over the playoff loss to the drop in ticket sales.

It also brings to an end a 48-game sellout streak for the Chargers, who have won the AFC West division championship the past four years.
