Tampa Bay Buccaneers is going to play the pre-season without linebacker, Barrett Ruud and cornerback Aqib Talib. Ruud and Talib are suffering with a minor groin strains. The team wants to keep a side both players for the pre-season starting game against Miami. Team doesn’t want to turn the minor injuries in to big ones.
Buccaneers made the contract with safety Vince Anderson and also claimed tight end Martin Rucker on Tuesday. Team released defensive end George Johnson and receiver Mario Urrutia to make the room for the new players.
Anderson selected by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent and played last season with the Giants practice squad.
Martin was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the Fourth Round of 2008 NFL Draft as overall 111th pick. He played 2008 season with Browns and the team waived him early in the 2009 season. Immediately he signed by the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad and played professional NFL from the December 2009.
