Mark Clayton Injured: Clayton Will Undergo Surgery

On Monday, Mark Clayton said that he is going to undergo a surgery. Clayton was injured in the first quarter of the Rams 44-6 loss to the Detroit Lions. He was collapsed while running a deep pass pattern to the left sideline.

"I got kicked right in the knee," Clayton said. "And as soon as he did it, (the knee) was like so hot and I couldn't move anything so it knew it was pretty serious."

In the earlier game, he caught one pass for 6 yards. The Rams acquired Clayton from the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 6, who needed to make room for TJ Houshmandzadeh.

With the Ravens, Clayton sent nine games of 100 yards receiving games.
