Steve Breaston Suffers with Arthroscopic Knee Surgery

According to the Sources, Arizona Cardinals receiver Steve Breaston will miss at least two games after having arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

On Tuesday, Test results showed torn carilage, which Breaston had repaired. The fourth-year player originally hurt his knee against Atlanta last week and tried to play through the injury in Sunday's 24-23 win over Oakland.

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said Wednesday that he's hopeful Breaston will be ready for Arizona's Oct. 10 game against New Orleans, though he might not be ready until after the bye week against Seattle on Oct. 24.

With early Doucet already out with a groin injury that leaves Larry Fitzgerald as the only receiver who's seen significant playing time.
